PV Bullion & Gold Exchange buys and sells gold, silver, and platinum bullion, coins, diamonds, and estate jewelry in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Owner Carmine Mannino brings 20 years of full-time experience in precious metals. Every item is tested on site in front of the customer using Sigma Pro and Niton XRF equipment, so you see exactly how its value is determined. Sellers are paid in full the same day. We buy for our own inventory and keep purchased bullion in our on-site vault rather than passing it to a wholesaler. PV Bullion is an NGC Authorized Dealer, a National Coin & Bullion Association member, a licensed Florida secondhand dealer, and ranked No. 167 on the 2026 Inc. 5000. Fragrance-free facility.

Collector notes

Visiting a coin shop

A few notes before you walk into PV Bullion & Gold Exchange in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. These rotate daily. They are general collector etiquette from CDXList — not this shop’s house rules. When something is unclear, ask the person at the counter.

  1. Ask if they buy the whole lot or select pieces

Some shops write one number for the box. Some pull the coins they can use. Neither is wrong. Ask which they do before they start. If you need everything gone today, say that. If you only want to sell the silver, say that too.

  2. If you feel rushed, you can pause

You are allowed to say you need a minute. You are allowed to pack up and think. You are not required to decide while someone is waiting behind you — step aside and let them go. A good shop would rather you be sure than sorry.

  3. If you set a time, be on it

Some shops work by appointment on bigger lots. Be on time. Call if you are late or cannot come. The slot they held is time they did not give someone else. Reliability gets you invited back.

  4. Tell them if a coin is damaged, cleaned, or already graded

Hiding a problem wastes time and trust. “This one was cleaned” or “this already came back from PCGS” is useful. Dealers would rather adjust than feel tricked. Honesty on the small things makes the rest of the visit easier.

  5. Decide how you want to be paid before the offer

If you are selling, know whether you need cash today, a check, or time to think. Changing the method after they have made a number can change the number. A clear “I would like a check if we agree” at the start saves a second conversation.
